EVFD Open House

- The Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Open House on Saturday, October14th, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Visitors, both children and adults, can enjoy some food and fun, while they collect some useful public safety information. Children can use a real fire hose or carry a dummy in one of our Junior Firefighter Challenge activities, they can explore the fire trucks, and even have their faces painted. We will also offer blood pressure checks and tours of the fire station. Visitors will have opportunities to meet and talk to the men and women responding to fire and rescue emergencies in our community. For more information, call 410-313-4901.
