Associate Members at the Elkridge Vol. Fire Dept. have historically been members of the community who brought their professional experience to help run the business of the department. ELKRIDGE HEROINES
Ladies Auxiliary
FUTURE LEADERS
Junior Firefighter
In 1998 the Elkridge Volunteer Juniors firefighters program was created to give local youths from the ages of 9-15 the opportunity to learn some basic firefighting and emergency medical skills. By learning these skills, they also learned leadership, teamwork, and the values of being part of a community. Many of our juniors have graduated to the active side of the department and are volunteer firefighters and EMTs, and some have made a career out of firefighting in Howard and adjoining counties.
